My name is Rachel Watts and I am a qualified and insured Foot Health Practitioner in Buckinghamshire. I have trained in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of the more common foot health problems that many of us may experience in our life-times. Occasionally, an onward referral may be indicated. For example, if a biomechanical assessment or custom-made orthotics are necessary then seeing a chiropodist/ Podiatrist with a specialised interest in this field will be suggested. Many people have foot problems and suffer with pain in their feet. Regular nail trimming and hard skin removal can help to eradicate painful foot conditions. Podiatrists/Chiropodists and Foot Health Practitioners all provide the highest levels of care for people with foot pain. Remember, it is important to ensure that your Podiatrist/Chiropodist or Foot Health Practitioner is both qualified and insured.
Why see a Foot Health Professional?
Foot Health Practitioners (FHP’s) are trained and qualified in both the theoretical and practical aspects of Foot Health to enable them to assess the condition of your feet, treat as appropriate and refer you if necessary. FHP’s provide routine foot care and maintenance for your feet using the latest procedures and techniques to ensure that you receive the best possible treatment for your feet,
There are so many reasons that somebody may see a Foot Health Professional instead of treating their own feet. Poor eye sight, back pain, limited dexterity, pregnancy, recovering after surgery – these are all simple reasons why it may have become impossible to see to your own feet. At the best of times it is difficult to see the soles of our feet at all! Medical complications, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis may render your feet as ‘high risk’ and place you in a group of individuals that would benefit from professional assessment, skilful treatment and regular monitoring of your foot health status and maybe you just like your feet to be pampered!
Healthy Happy Feet!
